Hola! Bienvenida
Hi, I'm Anie. Welcome!
Hola! New Life is a project with a pure benevolent purpose to promote virtuous cycles of philanthropy in life and contribute to making our world better.
A little help and encouragement can help fellow Mexican Latinas and Latinos who are promising raising stars to unlock their potential and boost their confidence to pursue their educational goals, improve their community and make positive contributions locally and globally.
This project is focused on helping ambitious, determined, and persevering women and men who have the grit but need a little push to take off on their self-development plan.
The goal of HolaNewLife is to achieve exactly that: to open the doors to a new life and fuel the desire to improve their life and the world through education, personal confidence, and financial sustainability. Then, to pass it forward and build a Virtuous Cycle of Philanthropy.
If you are ready to work on your educational goals and advancing your career, find out how you can get inspired. If you are a change agent who is inspired to take an active role in global social justice, racial wealth equity, and contribute to make our world better, find out you can make an impact.
Here are a few examples of some amazing women who are already part of the legacy. And a few cat rescue stories.
Delia
Delia is my sister. She just accomplished her goal of earning her high school diploma after a long hiatus from school.
Delia was a homemaker and entrepreneur for over thirty years. She dedicated her time to raise her two sons and supported her family selling shoes by catalog. Now an empty nester, she decided to pursue her educational goals to unlock her potential and confidence. She received my full encouragement and support for half of her school tuition. She is now planning on pursuing a certificate in HR management or pursue a B.S. degree in administration.
Gabriella
Gabriella and I crossed paths as she desperately sought help to care for her furry cat girl "Yun." Gabriella's charitable heart caring for stray cats and dogs brought us together and after caring for Yun, she cared for herself, got enrolled in English lessons, improved her self confidence, and was admitted into a Public University in her target career.
Gabriella boosted her confidence and determination after she was able to smile. She received support for a treatment of brackets and has taken steps to learn English. Now she is in her second year at University of Guadalajara (UDG) pursuing her B.S. degree (Licenciatura) in "Information and Technology." She has also received partial assistance for tuition and books and recently secured a scholarship on her own. She will graduate in 2025.
Yesenia
Yesenia is my niece and she is currently pursuing her B.S. degree (Licenciatura) in Psychology through a private university.
She receives my sponsorship for half of her monthly tuition and all my encouragement to continue her studies. She funds the rest of her educational expenses through her work as a beautician in her own nail, eyelash, and make up beauty shop. She will graduate in 2024.
Miroslava
Miros is my youngest niece and she is a mother of two. She decided to pursue a B.S. (Licenciatura) in Administration after welcoming her second child.
She enrolled at a private university offering virtual classes that accommodate with her working-mom schedule. She received a laptop and she funds her educational expenses from her work as a full-time collaborator in her family's cosmetics distribution business. She will graduate in 2025.
Rosario's Cats
These four furry girls were spayed during a neuter and spay campaign hosted by "Gatos Para Todos, A.C."
Rosario had unofficially adopted many stray cats that she thought only needed some food and shelter but her kind heart got her quickly surrounded by many non-spayed mommas that needed care. Due to a dramatic life event, Rosario lacked the funds to care for the cat colony. She reached out for help and we coordinated services so the cats could be cared for and she and her three boys could continue providing food and shelter to them. In their dramatic life experience, the cats brought relief to their grief and channeled her three young sons and her energies to a good community cause.
Another four furry momma cats were spayed at a second campaign too, saving many feral cats from the perils of the streets.
From Streets to Homes
These two little furry cat girls were abandoned to survive on their own. They found refuge under a car in front of my parents' home in Mexico. I was visiting my family and it broke my heart knowing they were at the mercy of the dangers of the street because I couldn't stay to care for them. They were hungry, dirty and full of fleas.
It took a team of four amazing women to get them trapped, spayed, vaccinated, and placed in loving homes. Thanks to my sister Blanca, my niece Yesenia's friend who rescued them and connected with a pet rescuer who cared form them and found them homes.
Later on, I connected with the rescuer who housed them temporarily, cared for them, and found them homes. Some other rescues followed including "Paco" and "Meri" two cats that had been abused and were in danger of being mutilated and "Flaca" a female street dog that got spayed. Besides helping these cats that to some were a nuisance, their care also allowed to prevent colonies of feral cats and also allowed us to share a common purpose that brought a spark to our heart.
